Stay Wilder & Sechelt Inlet Intimate Elopement
Amber and Aimer’s elopement was such a great example of how to do a "big" day with a small group. They chose to host their wedding in the Sechelt Inlet, starting the day at Stay Wilder, these beautiful eco-glamping domes tucked right into the rainforest.
The afternoon was super relaxed. Amber and Aimer got ready in separate domes with their moms, which kept things feeling calm. We did their first look right there in the forest, and we got so lucky with the timing; the light was streaming through the trees just as they saw each other for the first time.
After that, we headed over to Sandy Hook where their family and friends were waiting for the ceremony. It was a beautiful afternoon with clear blue skies and plenty of warm sun. The ceremony spot had an amazing view looking out over the ocean and the mountains across the inlet. After they made it official, we did some family photos and hung out at the viewpoint for a bit to get some portraits of just the two of them along the coast.
Everyone headed back to Stay Wilder for a long-table dinner under a tent in the rainforest. It was exactly what they wanted—just a chill evening with toasts, delicious food by Gourmet Girl, cake, and their favourite people. To end the evening with us, we headed to Porpoise Bay Park for golden hour. The evening golden light was incredible and was such a memorable end to the evening with them. A truly perfect Sunshine Coast wedding day.
