Halfmoon Bay Intimate Ocean View Summer Wedding

Koy and Matt’s summer intimate wedding in Halfmoon Bay was the perfect example of a truly chill and intentional day. Set at a stunning mountainside estate on the Sunshine Coast, BC, K & M spent the afternoon together in a cozy light filled suite overlooking both the ocean and the forest. Before heading out for their first look, Koy shared a sweet moment with her mom and Matt, who helped her into her dress and shoes. Her twin sisters and Mom, gifted her some incredibly sentimental gifts that brought out all the emotions.

Koy and Matt chose to read their vows privately in the forest right on the property. It was a heartfelt and emotional moment, made even more meaningful since they were expecting a baby just a few months later! Afterward, they joined their families for a beautiful ceremony on the main house's ocean-view deck. To celebrate, they shared a sparkling juice toast and plenty of warm hugs with their families.

The relaxed pace of the day continued into the evening with a beautiful long-table dinner set up right there on the deck under the summer evening sun. We snuck away later for some gorgeous golden hour photos, capturing the last bit of light over the coast.
