Jenni and Andrew’s Autumn elopement day on the Sunshine Coast started with getting ready at the beautiful Pointhouse on Sargeant Bay, nestled in the lush coastal forest just outside of Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast BC. Jenni, her mom, and her best friend got ready in a serene oceanview suite, with her best friend doing her makeup and Rhea of Paint & Pin styling her hair earlier in the day. Downstairs in the living room, Andrew and his best friend shared a quiet and relaxed afternoon as the wedding day began to unfold.
Instead of a first look, they chose to see each other for the first time at their ceremony on the shores of the Sechelt Inlet. Jenni walked through a garden path toward the water, where Andrew waited with the inlet mountains rising in the distance and the west coast breeze drifting through the trees. Their ceremony was full of heartfelt emotion, laughter, and tears. Afterward, we explored the oceanfront, wandered through the rainforest, and ended the evening with a quiet summer evening picnic at Porpoise Bay Park, complete with cake, champagne, and a first dance to their favourite song at sunset.
Brian and I met up with them again the following evening for golden hour portraits at one of our favourite Sunshine Coast beaches. Click on the button at the end of this blog to view their day after session.
