Emmalee and Aj are artists at heart. Together, they write and record music as Sheep Dream, a duo that reflects their shared passion and connection. Emmalee also channels her creativity into pottery through her brand, Pinto Projects, crafting unique pieces on the Sunshine Coast. Their elopement was a perfect reflection of their artistic spirit—personal, intimate, and full of meaning.
The day began in their cozy home overlooking the Sechelt Inlet, as rain softly pattered against the windows. After getting ready, they shared a heartfelt first look in their backyard, with the stunning inlet as their backdrop. Taking their time, they wrote their vows together before video calling their families to include them in the joy of the day.
From there, they took a short walk through the misty rainforest to a special spot—a rock where Aj had proposed to Emmalee. This meaningful location, with its breathtaking views, was the perfect setting for their intimate ceremony, officiated by their commissioner Tracy.
After the ceremony, they returned home to warm up and dry off before heading back out into the nearby rainforest for photos. They celebrated with champagne, laughter, and a bit of fun shooting cans with their BB gun—a playful tradition that added a personal touch to their day.
