Gospel Rock, Rainforest & Sechelt Inlet Elopement — Sunshine Coast, BC
Sam and Austin’s elopement in Gibsons, BC, was a beautifully intimate celebration of love. Nestled in a charming Airbnb surrounded by lush gardens and towering trees, they spent their wedding day in a peaceful and romantic setting, joined by their beloved senior pup, Rio, who looked dapper in a bow tie and cuffs.
Wanting a special first look moment, Sam and Austin got ready separately at their Airbnb before heading to their ceremony. They chose the stunning cliffside lookout at Gospel Rock, where they exchanged heartfelt vows overlooking the ocean. The warm, sunny afternoon was accompanied by a gentle breeze.
After sealing their vows, they popped champagne to celebrate before returning to their Airbnb for more quiet moments together. There, they shared another toast and cut their wedding cake with Rio by their side. Sam then changed into a second dress for a magical second first look in the garden, surrounded by daisies.
After having some champagne + wedding cake, we ventured into the lush rainforest of Roberts Creek for more photos. The towering trees and soft evening light created an enchanting, almost dreamlike atmosphere, capturing the wild beauty of the West Coast.
As the sun began to set, they made their way to Sechelt Inlet for golden hour. The evening was warm and peaceful, perfect for wading in the water, strolling along the beach, and sharing their first dance as the sun dipped below the horizon. It was a day filled with love, nature, and pure magic—an unforgettable elopement on the Sunshine Coast.
