Robin & Jason’s intimate rainforest and beach elopement in Tofino, BC
Robin and Jason chose to celebrate their love surrounded by their three kids and the beauty of nature in Tofino, creating a day filled with deep connection, joy, and love.
Staying at Pacific Sands Resort on Cox Bay Beach, Jason and the kids started the morning making pancakes and sharing a playful breakfast. Afterward, they helped their mom, Robin get ready, soaking in some sweet family moments before heading out for Robin and Jason’s first look in the rainforest.
Jason and Robin's first look on the boardwalk in the rainforest was so sweet and emotional, a special moment shared with their three kids. Their ceremony took place beneath a giant 1000-year-old tree, where they exchanged vows. It was a deeply personal and heartfelt experience, filled with joyful tears.
Afterward, they embraced the relaxed, west coast vibe by picking up tacos and burritos from the amazing and delicious Tacofino and enjoyed a laid-back picnic on the beach. Their kids had decorated and brought their wedding cake, making the celebration even more special as they laughed, shared food, and soaked in the warmth of the afternoon sun.
We met up Robin and Jason in the evening for golden hour photos at Pettinger Point and Cox Bay Beach. The glowing sunset, salty breeze, and endless ocean horizon created the most beautiful setting. They ended the evening riding bikes along the sand, trailing handmade cans painted by them and their kids. With the moon shining above and the sky painted in stunning hues, their day came to a breathtaking close.
So very grateful to have been a part of Robin and Jason’s wedding day in Tofino. Such an honour to photograph and be included in such a meaningful time in their lives.
