Amanda and Levi travelled all the way from Saskatchewan for their Tofino elopement, and they brought their parents along to share in the experience. It was such a beautiful, low-stress day that really focused on family and the incredible scenery of the West Coast.

They started the afternoon getting ready together in an ocean-view suite at the Wickaninnish Inn, with their moms there to help them with the finishing touches. Before the ceremony, we headed out to a hidden cove for a first look. It was a perfect, quiet moment for the two of them to see each other for the first time with the ocean as the backdrop.

For the ceremony, we took a short walk with their parents and their pup into the rainforest right on the Wick Inn’s property. This is honestly one of the most beautiful ceremony spots in Tofino because it feels totally secluded among the ancient trees, but it’s still really easy to access if you’re getting married at the lodge. Amanda and Levi shared some really heartfelt, intimate vows, and after the ceremony, they took a few minutes in the sun-drenched rainforest just to themselves to soak in the fact that they were officially newlyweds.

We finished the evening by heading down to the beach for a golden hour picnic. A lovely little picnic with donuts and champagne, which was a great way for everyone to relax after the formalities. We spent the rest of the night strolling along the shoreline taking golden hour photos, and they ended the day with a first dance on the sand surrounded by their parents just as the sun was setting. It was a simple, beautiful way to get married in such a special place.
