Sunshine Coast Rainforest & Beach Anniversary Session

For Claire, Gibsons has always been more than just a beautiful coastal town. It’s a place filled with cherished memories and deep family roots. With her grandparents living there, it quickly became her favourite place in the world. Though she and Luke originally married in a courthouse parking lot during the height of Covid restrictions in July 2021. Their dream had always been to elope in BC and travel limitations kept them from making that dream a reality at the time, but this past summer, they finally had the chance to visit.

To make the trip even more special, Claire planned a surprise couples photoshoot for Luke. An opportunity to finally capture the wedding portraits they had always envisioned, in the place that means so much to her.

Their session took place during golden hour in Roberts Creek, where the warm light filtered through the mossy rainforest, creating an ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere. As the sun dipped lower, they moved to the beach, where the sunset glow reflected off the water, making for a truly magical ending to their long-awaited photo session on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
