Romantic Sunshine Coast Elopement at The Nook Spa

Brian and I had the pleasure of capturing a truly magical and intentional elopement editorial with a team of talented creatives here on the Sunshine Coast. Our goal was to showcase the beauty and significance of an eco-friendly and vegan celebration, while also providing a glimpse into a full-day elopement from start to finish.
The day began with Alysha and Catrina getting ready together in a cozy forest cabin in Roberts Creek. As they excitedly prepared for their big day, the anticipation and love filled the air. Being in each other's presence, they felt a comfort and joy that set the tone for their intimate celebration.
Catrina + Alysha's first look was an emotional moment. As they stood facing each other, their eyes filled with tears of happiness. Seeing each other before they shared their private vows allowed them to soak in the magnitude of the day and savour the anticipation together. It was a moment filled with pure love and vulnerability.
Next came their intimate vow exchange, set against the serene backdrop of Davis Bay. The location was adorned with a beautiful arch by VMD Decor and locally sourced florals designed by Lizi & Fern. The vibrant blooms perfectly complemented the natural beauty of the coast, creating a picture-perfect setting for their heartfelt promises to one another. The love and commitment between Catrina and Alysha were palpable as they shared their vows, their words echoing through the salty breeze.
Following the ceremony, we embarked on a walk through the lush mossy filled rainforest at Cliff Gilker Park. The towering trees and soft greenery provided a tranquil backdrop for romantic portraits. Even in the midst of nature, Catrina and Alysha's love radiated brightly, capturing the essence of their connection.
As the sun began to set, we arrived at the peaceful Nook Spa where a romantic catered dinner awaited the newlyweds. Prepared with love and attention to detail, the menu showcased the incredible culinary possibilities of plant-based cuisine and desserts by Nourish Kitchen.
After dinner, Catrina + Alysha enjoyed a relaxing evening at the Nook Spa. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature, they reflected on the day they had shared. They snuggled close, relishing in the memories they had made and It was a cherished moment of tranquility and contentment.
This elopement editorial shows that love has no limits, and celebrating in an environmentally-friendly and vegan way is not only doable but also stunning. The Sunshine Coast, with its breathtaking landscapes and eco-conscious community, was a perfect setting for this unique elopement. The elopement was an homage to the significant role nature plays in our lives and reminded us of our duty to preserve it for future generations.

Brian and I are grateful to Alysha and Catrina for entrusting us with their story and allowing us to capture their love in this intentional and eco-friendly elopement.
